Cologix, a North American network-neutral interconnection and colocation provider, has acquired 2.7 acres of land in Columbus, Ohio immediately adjacent to its existing 5 acre data center campus at 555 Scherers Court. This land acquisition would reflect the strong demand for data center services in the Ohio region.

Cologix’s current Columbus data center presence spans over 32,000 SQF within an 86,000 SQF wholly owned, purpose built critical infrastructure facility. The location is network rich based on the 30+ networks that intersect on site and access to 30MW of utility power, which enables high density, enterprise grade colocation services. The land acquisition allows Cologix to develop an additional 100,000 SQF of incremental capacity over time.
