Canadian Web Hosting, a provider of web hosting infrastructure, cloud hosting, managed support and network services, has completed the Phase 2 construction of its Vancouver, BC data center on their 5-acre campus just outside of the city limits.

eSecureData, or DC3, is the company’s first wholly-owned Canadian data center in Vancouver, British Columbia. Engineered for flexibility, eSecureData can accommodate colocation requirements from single cabinet to large wholesale deployments.

The data center offers a choice of multiple diverse network carriers while providing redundancy. The facility has multiple underground utility feeds that can accommodate all types of colocation requirements, including the most demanding HPC (High Performance Computing) and cloud hosting environments.

web hosting canada“eSecureData was constructed to support the unprecedented growth we’re experiencing in the region especially in the Canadian Cloud,” said Matt McKinney, Chief Strategy Officer at Canadian Web Hosting. “Our price points and capabilities exceed the old-guard data center providers in the region. More importantly, our goal is to provide a service that takes the guess work out colocation hosting. Anybody who has co-located dedicated servers in Canada knows that most providers try to nickel and dime you for everything. We have removed that burden from our customers by using all-inclusive pricing in combination with unparalleled services and support.”

“It is also our belief that Vancouver has been an underserved market that has been waiting for a high density, ‘cloudy’ premium data center provider,” added Mr. McKinney. “We understand that just owning a data center is not enough. We’re building our facilities to have the power, the certifications and the team to deliver real value and expertise to our clients.”

Canadian Web Hosting will continue to operate DC1, their data center that is located in the heart of downtown Vancouver, but moving future colocation services and customers to the new facilities. They also operate three other data centers in Canada and offer a suite of Canadian colocation, web hosting, cloud hosting and managed services in data centers located in Vancouver, BC and Toronto, ON.

eSecureData, a former Canadian Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) provider, was acquired by Canadian Web Hosting in December, 2015. An additional second eSecureData data center site is in the works in Toronto and will be added later on.
