AdaniConneX Opens Flagship Data Center Campus in Chennai, India

In Chennai, India’s SIPCOT IT Park, AdaniConneX, a joint venture between Adani Enterprises and EdgeConneX, has opened their ‘Chennai 1’ hyperscale data center facility. The campus is capable of 17 MW (IT Load) in Phase 1 and 33 MW (IT Load) at full capacity.

Tamil Nadu’s first pre-certified IGBC Platinum Rated data center is located on the ‘Chennai 1’ site. Additionally, the facility will be powered entirely by renewable energy, giving businesses and large-scale clients sustainable energy options.

One of the most cutting-edge colocation campuses in the area, ‘Chennai 1’ is built to provide IT Infrastructure with strong physical protection, seven levels of security, and a commitment to 99.999% availability.
