Adva Launches New Network Security Company

ADVA

Adva Network Security, a specialized security firm dedicated to defending mission-critical communication networks from cyberattacks, was introduced by Adva (FSE: ADV). In order to safeguard even the most mission-critical connection applications, the new independent firm will add tested and authorized security controls to Adva’s networking technology portfolio.

The new entity, Adva Network Security, will create, implement, and develop encryption technology that can fend against more complex attacks. Adva Network Security will engage with national security agencies to provide end-to-end network protection that satisfies the highest industry standards, including protecting data against attacks from quantum computers, thanks to its own IT infrastructure and secure data center facilities in Germany.

Christoph Glingener, CEO at ADVA
“The network security landscape is more dangerous and difficult to navigate than ever before, and that’s before we even consider the threat of quantum computer attacks appearing on the horizon,” said Christoph Glingener, CEO at ADVA.

“By creating Adva Network Security, we’re ensuring that networks can deliver new levels of protection to safeguard ever-more sensitive communications such as national security services,” said Michael Roth, General Manager at Adva Network Security. “We live in a world where the value of information is increasing. At the same time, criminal hackers and unfriendly government actors have unprecedented financial resources at their disposal. Our new independent organization of highly specialized security experts will provide protection for the most sensitive data in motion at every network layer. More and more, businesses and their customers are prioritizing the integrity and privacy of critical operational processes and services. Our unique institution and the extensive and unrivaled expertise of our team will provide the network protection they need.”

High-Bandwidth Quantum-Safe Transport

Adva Network Security will provide connection solutions that satisfy the strictest industry standards from its own secured data center facilities in Germany. It will expand on the distinctive security technologies offered by Adva, including its optical transport solution, which was the first on the market to receive approval from the German Federal Ministry for Information Security (BSI) for the transmission of up to VS-V classified data. At the end of 2022, ADVA’s Ethernet encryption solution will also be added.

The NIST 140-2 certification for numerous Adva products is carried over into Adva Network Security solutions, guaranteeing that encryption satisfies the stringent requirements of American security agencies. Additionally, the business is working on receiving FIPS 140-3 certification. What’s more, the business provides high-bandwidth quantum-safe transport, allowing clients to integrate future-proof security measures into their infrastructure and ensuring that priceless data cannot be taken today and stored, ready to be decoded when powerful quantum computers are widely available.

“The network security landscape is more dangerous and difficult to navigate than ever before, and that’s before we even consider the threat of quantum computer attacks appearing on the horizon,” said Christoph Glingener, CEO at Adva. “By creating Adva Network Security as a separate entity, we’re empowering businesses and governments to confront this most urgent issue. Through our new company, we’re enabling customers to comprehensively address the data vulnerability crisis that threatens every aspect of our lives. Adva Network Security encryption technology has been tested by the most experienced and competent experts. It secures even the fastest data connections with the lowest latency, protecting communications without compromising the transmission quality.”
