AkzoNobel, a large multinational company with activities in paints and performance coatings for both industry and consumers globally, has selected Atos OneCloud for the management of its private and public cloud environments. The move is part of AkzoNobel’s strategy to migrate its IT infrastructure to the public cloud.

Atos’ services delivered through its OneCloud offering would help AkzoNobel’s worldwide development teams scale rapidly by offering base components for quicker, standardized, and safer software development. At the same time, it would also help lower costs through more automation in both private cloud and public cloud.

“We continue our partnership with Atos as we had a great experience with their classic hosting services, and they offered the best approach for our move to a secure cloud environment,” said Aloys Kregting, Chief Information Officer (CIO) at AkzoNobel. We are therefore pleased that Atos will support us in the migration to a public and private cloud, which allows us to operate much more efficiently and achieve significant cost reductions.”
