Global technology provider Arrow Electronics has signed a pan-European distribution deal with Scaleway, a multi-cloud hosting service provider for startups and developers. Scaleway’s public cloud products will be available through Arrow’s cloud management platform, ArrowSphere.
Scaleway is a single platform for building, deploying, and scaling infrastructure in the cloud. With access to more than 40 cloud infrastructure services, it allows businesses to trial, test, and create in a cost-effective environment. Clients may pick the best European regions to deploy cloud resources using Scaleway’s user interface/API, allowing them to develop multi-region, high-availability environments and applications.
“Data sovereignty and GDPR compliance are key considerations for our channel partners and their end-users,” said Eric Gourmelen, vice president IT for Arrow’s enterprise computing solutions business. “Our collaboration with hyperscaler Scaleway strengthens our offerings of cloud solutions based in Europe. Thanks to the ‘ArrowSphere fast onboarding’ program launched earlier this year, the quality of our APIs, and technical expertise of both companies, the integration of Scaleway offerings in ArrowSphere happened very fast.”
The ArrowSphere Platform

Channel partners may use the ArrowSphere platform to manage, differentiate, and expand their cloud businesses. Arrow’s marketplace provides public and private IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and cloud software products from all of the top hyperscale providers. With capabilities like automatic provisioning, complete billing integration, reporting, and predictive analytics, the platform delivers end-to-end cloud lifecycle management. ArrowSphere also has integrated DevOps and configurable storefronts, allowing end users to manage their own transactions.
“The addition of Scaleway to ArrowSphere will make it easy for channel partners to access our cloud solutions ecosystem.,” said Yann Lechelle, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Scaleway. “The collaboration will be a vital component of our growth strategy, and Arrow’s marketing support also makes it easy to target by country, growing our marketplace in Europe. “Our solutions are designed and built to work together. Each element, which includes compute, storage and network modules, can be added to a project in just a few clicks and so the infrastructure can grow and flex as required.”
With 2020 sales of $29 billion, Arrow Electronics is one of the largest technology providers globally.
Scaleway’s services include public cloud, data center colocation, dedicated servers, and more. Its services are deployed through six data centers located in three regions that include Paris (France), Amsterdam (Netherlands) and Warsaw (Poland).
