European edge data center provider, AtlasEdge, and on-demand connectivity provider for the enterprise cloud core, PacketFabric, have announced a strategic collaboration to expand cloud access across AtlasEdge’s network. This partnership would enable AtlasEdge’s customers to benefit from on-demand, secured, and flexible cloud connectivity, facilitated by PacketFabric’s TruNaaS Converge Platform.
The collaboration will see AtlasEdge’s Berlin and Hamburg data centers connected to PacketFabric’s network, providing customers with access to PacketFabric’s private network that is independent, secured, and globally available. According to the companies, this will enable customers to benefit from truly adaptable and expandable cloud connectivity, with quick and frictionless connections to reliable and secured cloud services.
PacketFabric has implemented its high availability 100GB private network in Berlin and Hamburg, making these two cities ideal locations for AtlasEdge’s data centers. The expansion of PacketFabric’s network footprint in these locations from extension locations to complete Points-of-Presence (PoPs) will allow customers to access cloud services regardless of their physical location. PacketFabric plans to expand its network further into AtlasEdge’s Brussels and Madrid locations as customer demand increases across the AtlasEdge portfolio. These cities will each become new PoP locations for Packet Fabric’s inventory.
Software-Defined Network
AtlasEdge’s Senior Vice President of Sales, Daniel Thomas, expressed excitement about the partnership, stating that it will diversify the company’s customer offering in response to the growing demand for flexible enterprise connectivity. This collaboration would deepen AtlasEdge’s objective of providing neutrality while also enriching its established community of data centers.
SVP of Sales for EMEA and Chief Marketing Officer at PacketFabric, Paul Buttle, expressed his joy at providing AtlasEdge’s customers and community with access to PacketFabric’s private network that is software-defined and fully customizable. He noted that AtlasEdge’s customers all over Europe will benefit from uncompromised scalability, performance, programmability, mobility, and security as a direct result of this collaboration.
In conclusion, the partnership between AtlasEdge and PacketFabric would enable customers to benefit from on-demand, secured, and flexible cloud connectivity, facilitating quick and frictionless connections to dependable and secure cloud services. The expansion of PacketFabric’s network into AtlasEdge’s data centers in Berlin and Hamburg will provide customers with access to PacketFabric’s private network that is unbiased, secured, and globally available, allowing them to access cloud services regardless of their physical location.
