With the signing of a multi-year strategic collaboration agreement (SCA), SUSE, a provider of enterprise-grade open source solutions, has entered into a multi-year strategic collaboration agreement with AWS. As a result, SUSE will now provide migration acceleration programs for SAP clients looking to migrate to the cloud.
The strategic partnership between SUSE and AWS identifies outputs and investment priorities that will contribute to a more seamless transfer of clients’ SAP landscapes to AWS. These deliverables include global dedicated staff, channel enablement and training, and combined go-to-market initiatives including sales and marketing.
“This multi-year collaboration will facilitate stronger marketing and co-selling programs to complement our respective technologies,” said Kathleen Curry, Director of Worldwide Strategic Alliances at AWS. “SUSE frequently leans in as an AWS collaborator, delivering SAP customers a seamless experience as they migrate operating systems from on-premises to AWS. Our work will help SAP customers modernize, shorten migration timelines, and accelerate time to value.”
