Hyperscaler AWS has signed a strategic collaboration agreement with AWS Premier Partner Cloudreach. The broad agreement would result in the firms’ joint go-to-market proposition being accelerated, as well as investments in Cloudreach software innovation, global development, and the establishment of a Talent Academy.
Cloudreach and AWS have had a 12-year relationship, and this agreement builds on it. Cloudreach plans to expand across North America and Europe, including new markets in Canada, Poland, Spain, and the Nordics. Cloudreach will also invest heavily in software to further improve its SMART Migration and SMART Modernization services. These services are designed to enable more clients reap the benefits of AWS services with considerably more efficiency by accelerating enterprise cloud adoption through intelligent automation.

Clients of AWS and Cloudreach may benefit from the new SMART Migration and SMART Modernization service offerings. To create continual modernization suggestions for legacy and cloud deployed services, these new offerings combine Cloudamize, a planning, evaluation, and migration automation software, with Sunstone, a cloud modernization machine learning engine.

The establishment of an AWS Talent Academy is a significant component of the reinforced collaboration. Applicants will be trained to become the next generation of cloud experts at the Talent Academy. Cloudreach will look for applicants that are passionate about creating a career in the cloud, even if they don’t have a technological background, and who want to fast-track their technical development.
The program is intended to attract additional talent to the AWS community by providing candidates with a roadmap to learn and improve their AWS skills. The Talent Academy is unique in that it places a strong emphasis on recruiting from a wide pool of candidates who have not previously pursued technical careers. According to Cloudreach, hundreds of individuals are expected to become AWS certified and gain hands-on experience in order to work as cloud consultants, engineers, architects, and developers.
