Backup and Disaster Recovery Provider for Public-Cloud Workloads, N2WS, Opens UK Office As It Targets EMEA Growth

N2WS (N2W Software), a provider of cloud-native backup and disaster recovery for Amazon Web Services (AWS Cloud), has announced the opening of a U.K. office. Based in Edinburgh, Scotland, the office forms a core part of the company’s strategic development plans as it looks to focus on and grow its EMEA business.

The new UK office will be headed up by N2WS’ newly appointed Director of Sales, Alexander Thomson, who is also tasked with helping the company target and grow its business in the Managed Service Provider (MSP)/IT Service Provider market.

n2ws cloud backup“EMEA is a fast-growing market in terms of public cloud adoption, and the region is important to our business growth strategy through 2017 and 2018,” said Jason Judge, CEO of N2WS. “For us to support the region effectively, it’s crucial to develop our physical presence in the market and the new office will allow us to do that. As well as growing our business in our traditional SMB and enterprise markets, we are also looking to target the growing Cloud Managed Services market, which is predicted to $53.78 billion by 2022, and Alex is perfectly positioned to help us do that.”

N2WS was founded in 2012 with the mission of providing enterprise-grade data protection for production environments deployed in the public cloud. Cloud Protection Manager (CPM) from N2WS was designed and built from the ground up to meet the backup and DR requirements of the most demanding customers migrating to the public cloud. N2WS CPM is specifically optimized for Amazon Elastic Cloud (Amazon EC2).

“I’m excited to be opening the new Edinburgh office,” said Alexander Thomson. “I will be spending the next few months building out a strong and experienced local team, who will enable us to drive growth in this market, better support our existing customers and ultimately deliver our business goals.”

To that end, N2WS is seeking motivated sales talent looking for a career in this growth stage startup focused on products and services for the rapidly expanding public cloud. Visit for more information.
