Barracuda Extends Email Management Capabilities for Microsoft Azure Customers

Barracuda Networks, provider of cloud-connected security and storage solutions, has expanded its Microsoft Azure portfolio to include the Barracuda Message Archiver and Barracuda Spam Firewall. As part of the Microsoft Azure Certified program, these email management solutions are now available in the Microsoft Azure Marketplace.

With advanced functionality to provide granular email management, real-time threat protection, and extended email availability, Barracuda‘s solutions would offer comprehensive email management, archiving, and security for organizations migrating to cloud-based email such as Microsoft Office 365.

  • The Barracuda Message Archiver offers its clients customizable email retention rules and allows organizations to designate auditors to apply litigation holds on specific information.
  • Barracuda Spam Firewall for Microsoft Azure provides administrators policy control, data leak prevention and comprehensive email security, including advanced spam and virus blocking, data protection, DoS prevention, email continuity and encryption.

The Microsoft Azure Certified designation would assure customers that the Barracuda solutions have been tested for readiness and compatibility with Microsoft Azure public cloud, Microsoft Cloud Platform hosted by service providers through the Cloud OS Network, and on-premises private cloud Windows Server Hyper-V deployments.
