On Friday 15th November, BBC Radio Manchester joined UKFast live, for an insight into the staff’s charitable ethos. Employees here at UKFast turned up to work in their pyjamas, raising money for Children In Need. Members of staff gathered in the newly created ‘chill out zone’ at the UKFast Headquarters with a cooked breakfast and unlimited cups of tea and coffee on tap.
An earlier start than usual at 7.30am did not stop the team here at UKFast doing their bit for a well-known cause. Slippers, dressing gowns and an interesting array of onsies, the staff at UKFast injected enthusiasm and excitement into an early Friday morning.
The listeners of BBC Radio Manchester were provided with an insight into the fun-filled attitude that UKFast embraces as a business. Short interviews were held with very cheerful and not to mention comfortable members of staff, as listeners were introduced to the excitement at the UKFast pyjama party!
