As a European provider of data center and cloud computing services, Beyond.pl has introduced a direct high-capacity telecommunications connection between Warsaw, Frankfurt, and Poznan. The fiber network will let the enterprises get the best of what both the countries can offer related to IT hosting infrastructure and addressable market. This move by Beyond.pl is intended to give users access to high security, low latency, and high quality of telecommunications services.

Talking about the Beyond.pl East-West Corridor, it is a high-speed Internet connection. The company stated that it offers a round trip latency of less than 10ms between Poznan and Frankfurt and at 4ms to Berlin or Warsaw. The telecommunications corridor is completely based on Beyond.pl’s backbone network with private rings situated in Warsaw and Poznan. In Frankfurt, Beyond pl’s infrastructure is located in a data center that secures access to European traffic exchange points and telecommunication operators. The brand-new telecommunication network in Europe creates the most flawless east-west connection and is also open to new directions in CEE and Western Europe.

Beyond.pl’s rollout of the telecommunications corridor may give quite some advantages to Polish organizations looking for the fastest data transfer to Western Europe. It will also provide benefits to western companies trying to make an entry into the Central European market. Moreover, it will also benefit companies that are on their way to diversify their IT support policies and want to optimize data processing costs. Enterprise clients in Germany can go for separating their active or non-active IT loads and migrate them to Poznan. Along with that, they can also upgrade the infrastructure to a Rated 4 data center and achieve considerable savings as compared to the hosting costs in Germany. Different Polish enterprises collocated in Beyond.pl data canters can now connect to the lucrative markets in Germany through DE-CIX.

IXs Eastern Europe

Beyon.pl previously signed cooperation agreements with Budapest’s BIX, Berlin’s BCIX, Vienna’s VIX, and Prague’s NIX.CZ to boost its connectivity in the European markets. The agreements make sure that the customers who select to host themselves on the organization’s campus have prime connectivity solutions all over the Central and Eastern European Region.

The East-West corridor is one such initiative by the company recently. Beyond.pl rolled out the third location of the largest Polish Internet Exchange EPIX node in Data Center 2 in Poznan in October 2020. This marks Beyond.pl as an extreme western point to the largest neutral Internet provider in Poland.

Beyond.pl is also making progress in the way of pursuing its data center campus expansion plans. The organization declared the expansion of its Poznan Data Center Campus in September 2020. The campus is speculated to reach a total power capacity of 42MW. It is going to be one of the largest facilities in Central Europe and will cover an area of 45,000 square meters.
