Bit Refinery, a U.S. based provider of Cloud Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), has announced that its cloud services are now supported in the New York and New Jersey metro areas through its newest data center provider, NYI.
The VMware powered Cloud IaaS provider is headquartered in Denver, Colorado. The added data center presence on the East Coast increases Bit Refinery’s footprint across the U.S., which now includes virtual data centers in Seattle, Denver, London and New York.

The East Coast expansion allows the company to better support its growing portfolio of cloud services, such as the newly launched Hadoop Hosting, a new dedicated service which provides companies with the ability to store massive amounts of data through a very low cost solution, and its Disaster Recovery as a Service powered by Zerto.
“With NYI as a customer-service focused colocation provider we are able to support our customers that require East Coast mission-critical infrastructure,” said Brandon Hieb, managing partner, Bit Refinery. “With this expanded presence, we can deliver world-class cloud services coast to coast and continue to help our customers reduce their capex spending and associated headaches that accompany managing their own infrastructure and disaster recovery solutions.”
Established in 1996, NYI is headquartered in the heart of the Wall Street area, with facilities in both Lower Manhattan and Bridgewater, New Jersey. The company’s core services include colocation and dedicated servers, cloud computing and managed services, disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
