BroadBand Tower, an Internet services and cloud solutions provider based in Japan, has partnered with edge cloud services Zadara. The partnership aims to provide BroadBand Tower with Zadara’s Edge Cloud Services to power Broadband Tower’s c9 Flex-N Infrastructure-as-a-Service Platform, a full-stack solution including storage, compute, and networking.

BroadBand Tower is responsible for a significant share of the Internet services provided in Japan, supporting top portal sites, ecommerce sites, video distribution sites, and social media organizations, all of which would generate huge amounts of data daily. Through the partnership, BroadBand Tower’s clients wouldhave access to flexible, open cloud environments for all service levels, including hardware-as-a-service (HaaS), Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS).

The c9 Flex-N platform, powered by Zadara Edge Cloud, allows hybrid and/or multi-cloud environments, enabling customer workloads to be transferred to and from the platform without the need for vendor lock-in or long-term commitments. The platform also offers round-the-clock support and Service Level Agreement (SLA) guarantees that are best in their respective classes.
