CA Cloud, the dedicated cloud hosting services business from Canadian Web Hosting, has announced the public availability of their Content Delivery Network (CDN) service for Canadian cloud hosting customers. The new CDN service allows customers to accelerate delivery of their content, video and applications.
The new CDN solution utilizes multiple strategic “high performance” locations, including CA Cloud’s Canadian CDN Points-of-Presence (PoPs) in Vancouver, BC and Toronto, ON that leverage their high capacity, 100% Canadian cloud infrastructure.
In addition to Canadian CDN locations, customers have access to a larger global pool of capacity that spans more than 110 cities worldwide. Once a customer enrolls into the service, they can expand their CDN coverage with any of these locations on demand, giving them greater flexibility and easy access to their local customer geographies. CA Cloud offers flexible pricing on a pay-as-you-go basis based on the locations required.
CA Cloud’s CDN is available to new and existing customers and can also be purchased as a standalone service to support clients’ existing cloud hosting infrastructure.
Improve Speed
Today, CA Cloud delivers comprehensive cloud hosting services across Canada, including local options for Toronto, ON and Vancouver, BC. Each location is fully redundant, leveraging 10Gbps networking and uplinks and enterprise-grade hardware. CA Cloud’s platform comprises a range of cloud hosting services, including Elastic Clouds, Flexible Clouds and Private Clouds, with mobile apps to easily manage a cloud.
“CDN is becoming an increasingly important part of customers’ cloud infrastructure and helps our customers support their users worldwide by delivering local content to improve speed, delivery and usability of their apps or websites,” said Matt McKinney, Chief Strategy Officer of CA Cloud. “Now our customers can target their content at very specific geographies and do it through a single platform.”
