let s encrypt it“The mission of Let’s Encrypt is to get the Web to 100% encryption,” said Josh Aas, Executive Director of Let’s Encrypt. “We’re making incredible progress, but we couldn’t do it without companies like HostPapa who both share our mission to secure all sites with HTTPS, and contribute financially through sponsorship to our work.”

HostPapa, based in Burlington, Ontario, is a web hosting and cloud-based service provider to small businesses around the globe.

“Security is paramount to every business owner that runs a website – whether it be an individual or a large corporation,” said Jamie Opalchuk, CEO of HostPapa. “So we are really excited to be partnered with Let’s Encrypt and offer this integral service to all our customers, both big and small. This partnership with Let’s Encrypt will allow HostPapa customers free and easy access to enable HTTPS on all their websites, helping to make the Web a more secure place.”

HostPapa‘s customers will now be able to access this new feature via their control panel (cPanel) and install it for free on any and all websites they host through the web hosting provider’s services.
