G-Core Labs

G-Core Labs, an international CDN provider delivering cloud and edge solutions, has added a Pointof-Presence in Singapore. The location offers customers secured dedicated servers and virtual servers, as well as services for a “fast” delivery of content.

“Being a recognized world economic center, Singapore is actively developing Internet infrastructure and communication networks: more than 93% of 5,8 million residents here regularly go online, and in terms of speed of fixed and mobile Internet, the city-state takes the 1st and 2nd places in the world respectively,” said Andre Reitenbach, managing director of G-Core Labs. “Singaporeans actively watch videos, communicate in social networks, buy online, including food, electronics and beauty products. The new G-Core Labs location will be in demand both in Singapore itself and in neighboring China, as well as among Asian, European and American companies seeking to work effectively in the local and regional markets.”

The new hosting and CDN Point-of-Presence in Singapore is aimed at organizations within telecommunication and broadcasting, mass media, streaming services, video game development and publishing, online retail, cloud services, the banking sector and others.

Located on 5 continents, the global architecture of G-Core Labs’ content delivery network, was created by experts on high-load systems. Today, it includes 100+ Points-of-Presence located in more than 65 cities around the world, with 5000+ peering partners and 300+ cash servers, while the total network capacity is 10+ Tbit/sec.

DDoS Protection

All G-Core Labs dedicated servers hosted at its Singapore PoP are protected from DDoS attacks using G-Core Labs’ unique technology for intelligent filtering of network traffic. The dedicated servers of the company provide constant free access to their IPMI, which would allow to quickly solve any issue with hosting in a remote format – even in case of emergency situations.

G-Core Labs’ virtual servers hosted in Singapore are powered by SSD and based on KVM virtualization technology, which would guarantee high and uninterrupted performance.

G-Core Labs CDN supports all necessary protocols, including HTTP/2 (by default), SSL and IPv6. It also provides flexible system configuration options: access through the API, opportunities to pre-load heavy files, to clear cache completely or selectively, to set and manage cache storing time, cache return, inheriting caching parameters, to ignore request parameters and cookies, et cetera.

G-Core Labs built its own global infrastructure on all continents with “the best CDN performance in Europe, Russia and the CIS.” The company’s clients include Avast, Michelin, SIBUR, MTS, Beeline, Megaphone, Tinkoff Bank, Wargaming holding (World of Tanks, World of Warships, World of Warplanes), American games publisher RedFox Games, leading TV channels in Europe and the CIS (Channel One, TNT, Match TV), Japanese video game publisher Bandai Namco, online retailers Lamoda, AWOK, and others.
