Divitel, a European video systems integrator and services provider has expanded its strategic partnership with Broadpeak – a company designing and manufacturing video delivery components for content providers and network service providers deploying IPTV, Cable, Satellite, OTT and mobile services. The expanded partnership was announced at IBC 2018 in Amsterdam; the media, entertainment and technology event taking place 13 – 18 September.
Divitel will embed Broadpeak’s technology as-a-service in its Operational Intelligence Services – Divitel’s real time event stream processing (ESP) insights solution. Divitel is already performing managed services on Broadpeak’s products for some of their European customers, as it would reinforce Broadpeak’s managed services offering.
”We are happy to work closely with Broadpeak and to embed Broadpeak’s technology as a service in our Operational Intelligence Services,” said Hans Kornmann, CEO of Divitel. “It will give our customers valuable insight into their video delivery chain performance, resulting in increased quality, a better customer experience and a higher NPS score. More importantly, we like the people of Broadpeak; they are very innovative and technology driven. It is not only a great business match but also a cultural match.”
As an independent systems integrator specializing in video and TV, Divitel designs, builds and manages video delivery solutions for operators, broadcasters and content owners. From OTT to IPTV and DVB-T to -S, Divitel would have over 2 decades of experience working with every imaginable form of video delivery technology, with clients spanning the globe.
Video and CDN Services
Through a suite of services for TV operators and facilities like its recently opened automated TV and video application lifecycle testlab, as well as the Divitel Operations Center, the Netherlands-based company helps TV and video businesses of all sizes to compete on a level playing field.
“By mixing Broadpeak’s enablers and KPIs with the other components of the video streaming ecosystem, Divitel Operational Intelligence Services enables advanced end-to-end monitoring,” said Jacques Le Mancq, CEO of Broadpeak. “We are very excited to extend our partnership with Divitel, who is already performing managed services on Broadpeak’s products for some of our European customers, as it reinforces our Managed Services offer.”
Headquartered in Cesson Sevigne, France, Broadpeak delivers CDN technologies and solutions powering the delivery of movies, television programming, and other video content over managed networks and the Internet for viewing on any type of device.
