Cirrus Core Networks, a US-based core network integrator that provides innovative solutions for IaaS fully managed packed core, IMS, content delivery and applications to mobile (virtual) network operators (MNOs and MVNOs), has selected Summa Networks’ cloud-based subscribers, policy and identity management software suite.

As a European-based market specialist in Subscribers, Policy and Identity Management, Summa Networks assists carriers of all kinds and types in making the transition to 5G. They do so as carriers continue to operate on 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G NSA networks until they are ready to upgrade to 5G SA, first as an overlay function in hybrid interworking mode, and then as pure 5G Standalone at the end.

“Our subscribers, policy and identity management software suite has been recognized in the industry as a great choice for carriers of all sizes and geographies,” said Javier Martin, CEO at Summa Networks.

Summa Networks’ Subscriber Data Management (SDM) solution includes an HLR, HSS for LTE, HSS for IMS, 5G NSA, UDR, UDM, AUSF, PCRF, PCF, as well as AUC, EIR, DNS/ENUM, Lawful Interception (HSM), AAA for VoLTE and VoWiFi in a single piece of software. Their system is appropriate for MNOs, MVNOs, MVNE/As, Private LTE, IoT networks, and secure communications since software optimizes the usage of HW resources.

“Our mission is to accelerate LTE and IMS network revenue through fast and cost-effective deployment of cloud-based NFV solutions,” said Adam Crane, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Cirrus Core Networks. “We selected Summa Networks’ cloud-based software suite because it is easy to integrate and deploy in any mobile network, while offering a comprehensive set of features that evolves with the market standards, for a truly future-proof solution.”
