Talend, a global provider of big data and cloud integration solutions, has announced the official opening of its new office in Bangalore, India, to address regional sales opportunities and better serve client needs on a global basis.
The new facilities house members of Talend’s team including professional services, who will provide support and training to the surrounding regions and to the many global Talend customers and System Integrators (SIs) that have major development hubs or Centers of Excellence in India. Talend’s India team also includes sales representatives who will help meet the growing opportunity for Talend solutions in the region.
“I’m excited by our new presence in India, which I view as an important part of our overall global business strategy,” said Mike Tuchen, CEO of Talend. “Talend’s new office in Bangalore puts us closer to the development teams of many of our largest customers. It will also be tremendously helpful as we continue to deepen and expand our relationships with large SI partners like Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant and Wipro that all have a significant presence in India.”
The new office, which will be one of Talend’s largest in APAC, would help the company deepen its collaboration with partners and accelerate training of their associates on Talend solutions. Based on current commitments from leading SIs, Talend expects the number of consultants trained in 2017 to more than triple 2016 totals. Growth in the number of trained Talend consultants would help SIs address their increasing customer demand for skilled big data and cloud resources to support their digital transformation.
Talend’s solutions support over 1500 global enterprise customers including Air France, GE, and Lenovo, across a range of industries.
