Zang, an Avaya company providing communications solutions for organizations and individuals, has been recognized by Frost & Sullivan as a New Product Innovation Leader in the North American cloud-based communications market. Frost & Sullivan has recognized Zang for bringing a new level of innovation to the enterprise cloud space.
After researching a wide range of markets across multiple sectors and geographies, Frost & Sullivan‘s global team of analysts and consultants recognized Zang for uniquely delivering communications technologies on three strategic fronts: Communications Platforms as a Service (CPaaS), Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS), and team collaboration. These three strategic fronts would drive a level of communications capabilities that, when combined, give enterprises a holistic approach to “seamless” communications with both employees and customers.
“Frost & Sullivan is pleased to recognize Zang with the 2017 North American Communications Platforms as a Service New Product Innovation Award,” said Michael Brandenburg, Frost & Sullivan. “We believe Zang brings a unique dimension to the CPaaS market by taking the enterprise expertise of Avaya, one of the most recognizable and stalwart brands in the communications market, and combining it with the agility and speed of a start-up to bring a whole new tool set and customer experience to the market.”
Zang’s key products include Zang Cloud, Zang Office, and Zang Spaces – forming the basis for the Frost & Sullivan award recognition:
- Zang Cloud – a fully formed CPaaS platform offering voice, text message, and call recording services (on-demand in over 50 countries) as communications-enabling apps and workflows across the enterprise. Integrated with Breeze, Avaya’s “flexible” development platform and orchestration toolset, Zang Cloud would be well suited to meet the needs of Avaya customers and partners by providing a cloud-based or hybrid complement to the company’s on-premises UC platforms. Zang Cloud would be more than only an on-demand cloud-based CPaaS offering, it is a gateway to an all-encompassing ecosystem for driving more effective communications.
- Zang Office – the company’s public cloud UCaaS offering that would provide small- and mid-sized organizations “with a reliable, affordable, and easy way” to set up cloud-based business phone services. Avaya customers looking to move to the cloud might find Zang Office’s support of Avaya desktop phones to be a cost-effective transition with no need for significant reinvestment in endpoints.
- Zang Spaces – would bring team collaboration tools to Avaya at just the right time, as Frost & Sullivan believes that team collaboration is emerging as a disruptive tool that businesses of all sizes are currently evaluating as key components of their employee engagement and workflow enhancement strategies.
“Being recognized by Frost & Sullivan as a New Product Innovation Leader in the CPaaS market is a tremendous honor,” said Mohammad Nezarati, General Manager of Zang. “We believe Zang’s full suite of cloud-based communication technology has the power to transform businesses communications, and over the next year we’re focused on developing even more innovative solutions for our customers across the globe.”
