Cloud Computing Platform Vultr Releases IT Channel Partner Program

“Vultr has an unbeatable combination of high-performance, low-cost compute with an extensive geographic footprint,” said Aaqib Gadit, Co-Founder and CEO of channel partner Cloudways.

With more than 500 IT channel companies as launching partners including VARs, resellers and MSPs, cloud computing and bare metal platform Vultr has announced the general availability of its newly launched partner program.

“Vultr’s new partner program is a fresh alternative, enabling partners to make more money on the cloud compute and cloud storage offerings their customers use every day,” said Shane Zide, Vice President of Global Sales & Channel at Vultr.

Vultr, which was founded in 2014, now has more than 1.3 million worldwide customers and operates 22 cloud data centers across the world, with annual recurring revenue exceeding $125 million (ARR). Founded by Constant, Vultr serves customers across 185 countries with global cloud computing, bare metal and storage solutions.

Soft-launched in 2021, Vultr has already attracted over 500 managed service providers (MSPs), resellers, and technological innovators to their IT channel program. According to Vultr, these channel partners are frustrated by the Big Tech cloud providers’ restricted margins, exorbitant rates, and restrictive programs.

“As the Big Tech Clouds have gotten bigger and more powerful, partners have been left with shrinking margins on cloud compute and cloud storage, increasingly complex program rules, and less personalized attention,” said Shane Zide, Vice President of Global Sales & Channel at Vultr. “Vultr’s new partner program is a fresh alternative, enabling partners to make more money on the cloud compute and cloud storage offerings their customers use every day.”

Cloud Services Margins

Channel partners may earn “industry-best margins” on cloud computing and cloud storage while creating “profitable” value-added services and managed services on top of Vultr’s platform with the new Vultr Partner Program. High margins, channel-friendly packaging (including yearly SKUs), “up to 50%” cheaper costs than Big Tech clouds, and enterprise features are all available to Vultr partners (such as VPC and direct connect).

Vultr works with developers and companies of all sizes. Vultr would power major studio video games, large-scale web hosting providers, prominent business SaaS apps, next-generation video streaming apps, and much more.

“Vultr offers an advanced, reliable cloud platform that can handle the complex cloud use cases that our partners need to solve today,” said Dale Foster, CEO of channel partner Climb Channel Solutions. “We see Vultr as a key component of our emerging cloud strategy and we believe that they will effectively partner with other brands in adjacent markets.”

“Vultr has an unbeatable combination of high-performance, low-cost compute with an extensive geographic footprint,” said Aaqib Gadit, Co-Founder and CEO of channel partner Cloudways. “As a growing cloud application hosting platform, we need partners that can grow with us and Vultr has proven to be a great partner.”

Constant, the company behind the Vultr cloud computing and bare metal platform, closed a $150 million credit facility with J.P. Morgan and Bank of America last year in April. The additional funds are being used to expand Constant’s global network of automated cloud infrastructure, allowing it to better serve its fast-growing customer base and bolstering its position as a market’s top independent cloud services provider.
