CenturyLink, Inc. (NYSE: CTL) has announced the appointment of Jason Bobb as vice president, global sales, for the U.S. East region. Mr. Bobb is responsible for increasing market share and selling integrated hybrid IT, cloud hosting and networking solutions that address the technology needs of CenturyLink’s large business customers.
Jason Bobb, a CenturyLink employee for 14 years, most recently led the East region’s Mid-Atlantic sales team in exceeding its sales targets and growing year-to-date revenue. Bobb has more than 16 years of business-to-business technology sales and leadership experience at CenturyLink, Qwest Communications, Intermedia and Lucent Technologies.

Mr. Bobb holds a bachelor’s of science degree from East Stroudsburg University and is a member of the board of directors for 501cTECH, a Washington, D.C.-based nonprofit organization that helps other nonprofits use information technology. He remains based in Philadelphia.
