Concerto Cloud Services Launches Its Concerto Cloud for Healthcare Solution

Concerto Cloud Services has launched its Concerto Cloud for Healthcare solution. The new solution would feature the highest levels of security and service. Concerto Cloud for Healthcare also features built-in HIPAA compliance from the application down through the physical layer.

Hybrid deployment capabilities with integrations across the Concerto private cloud, Microsoft Azure public cloud and on-premise applications would offer the flexible and scalable platform today’s health organizations increasingly require.

cloud healthcare“Through years of serving healthcare customers and channel partners, we know this industry has been cautious to embrace the cloud because of concerns about data security, compliance and complexity,” said Greg Pierce, chief cloud officer at Concerto Cloud Services. “We also know that the healthcare system can be dramatically improved by the flexibility and cost-savings enabled by the cloud. We developed the Concerto Cloud for Healthcare from the ground up to address growing market demand to meet the unique and rigorous requirements of modern healthcare.”

According to a recent Gartner report, the general reluctance to embrace cloud offerings, particularly for protected health information (PHI), due to concerns over HIPAA readiness and security is now unfounded. “Cloud services have matured, as have the practices for cloud-using organizations, and the time has come for health delivery organizations to recognize cloud service providers’ strengths and consider cloud-based hosting services as a viable regulation-acceptable IT service delivery model.”

Concerto Cloud for Healthcare would integrate seamlessly with electronic health records (EHR), enterprise resource planning (ERP) and enterprise content management (ECM) applications, and offer high-performance capabilities such as automatic failover to ensure business continuity, advanced protection from common Distributed Denial of Service (DDOS) attacks, and single sign-on and multi-factor authentication. Concerto’s on-premise compliance template would also ensure all desktops are HIPAA compliant with each startup.
