ControlUp Joins Microsoft Enterprise Cloud Alliance

ControlUp, a provider of performance management tools to identify, troubleshoot and remediate problems in virtual infrastructures, has joined the Microsoft Enterprise Cloud Alliance. As part of the alliance, ControlUp will extend its tools to support Microsoft Hyper-V and Microsoft Azure-based workloads that reside in the data center or in hybrid clouds.

ControlUp will also engage in marketing and alliance activities with Microsoft and the Microsoft ecosystem.

microsoft cloud“ControlUp has always provided first-class support for Windows-based workloads with a focus on end user computing use cases, including virtual desktops and virtual applications running on Microsoft VMware or Citrix stacks,” said Asaf Ganot, founder and CEO of ControlUp. “With the new Hyper-V and Microsoft Azure integration, we’re entering the larger market of managing Windows-based mission-critical application workloads. Today we are delighted to take our relationship with Microsoft to the next level as a member of the Enterprise Cloud Alliance and to participate in Ignite 2016.”

ControlUp allows the system administrator of a Hyper-V based infrastructure to identify and remediate issues on servers, Hosts and Guest VMs right down to individual applications and processes. What would make ControlUp unique is that once a problem is identified, it can be fixed on one or a hundred VMs with a single keystroke using built-in management actions, plus hundreds of community-shared scripts. ControlUp lets system administrators control all workloads in the local data center and in Microsoft Azure from a single pane of glass.

ControlUp is headquartered in Silicon Valley with R&D in Israel, and is backed by Jerusalem Venture Partners.
