Monitoring and analytics platform Datadog (Nasdaq: DDOG), a company aiming at developers, IT operations teams and business users in the cloud age, has announced general availability of its integration with Alibaba Cloud, supporting customers that rely on Alibaba Cloud for their infrastructure.

With Datadog’s Alibaba Cloud integration, all customers can “easily” monitor Alibaba Cloud’s comprehensive suite of services, including:

  • Elastic Compute Service (ECS)
  • Server Load Balancer (SLB)
  • ApsaraDB for RDS
  • ApsaraDB for Redis
  • Cloud CDN
  • Express Connect
  • DingTalk

Datadog helps customers running on Alibaba Cloud get deep insights into the performance of their most business-critical services. Datadog’s integration also collects metadata and custom tags from these resources. This allows users to “easily” group data by information such as region to get a world-wide view of their environment. They can then use the additional metadata collected to filter down to a specific set of resources to quickly identify potential issues and take action.

“Large enterprises rely on Alibaba Cloud for their critical cloud infrastructure,” said Daniel Langer, Product Manager at Datadog. “Supporting Alibaba will help us serve customers and bring more visibility into cloud environments across the world.”

Datadog is used by organizations of all sizes and across a wide range of industries. These organizations use Datadog’s monitoring and analytics solutions to enable digital transformation and cloud migration, drive collaboration among development, operations and business teams, accelerate time to market for applications, reduce time to problem resolution, understand user behavior and track key business metrics.
