euNetworks, a European bandwidth infrastructure provider with a portfolio of metropolitan and long haul services, has launched its Media Connect solution. Tis new offering provides scalable connectivity and cloud access to the media community in Europe.
euNetworks’ Media Connect service has been developed in close consultation with the company’s media clients over the last 18 months, with the company also investing in connections to key media areas around the UK and mainland Europe. This includes fiber from Chiswick Park to the west of London, to Wood Lane and Soho, further east to Here East in Stratford as well as up to Manchester’s Media City and to Hilversum in the Netherlands.
“We are a bandwidth infrastructure company, owning and operating our own fiber networks that connect more than 260 data centers and 1,000 buildings across Europe as well as offering direct access to 12 cloud platforms,” said Kevin Dean, Chief Marketing Officer of euNetworks. “Combined with our focus on connecting post production houses, media hubs and broadcast play-out centers, this means we can offer a unique and scalable capability for the media community as they seek to push more of their workflow online to the cloud.”
euNetworks offers “rapid” service delivery in areas with pre-deployed connectivity as well as the flexibility of project based contract options. Owning and managing their own network would mean that euNetworks can support bandwidth requirements for today as well as plan for future bandwidth demands of their customers.
Headquartered in London, UK, euNetworks owns and operates 13 fiber based metropolitan networks across Europe connected with a high capacity intercity backbone covering 45 cities in 10 countries. The company is also a cloud connectivity provider, connecting 12 cloud platforms. euNetworks offers a portfolio of metropolitan and long haul services including Dark Fibre, Metro Wavelengths, Wavelengths, Ethernet, and Internet.
