ComputeNext, a cloud hosting marketplace which was recently named a Gartner Cool Vendor in 2013, has just completed raising $4 million to build out its sales and marketing team. The new funding is part of a larger $10M round the company is raising to help build out the business development team in Bellevue, Washington.
Total funding for ComputeNext now stands at $8 million, which has come from a global network of angel investors.
Since 2011, ComputeNext has been developing the back-end of its cloud hosting e-commerce platform which supports a variety of customer use cases today, such as deployment of IaaS for IT infrastructure as well as the deployment of a variety of on-demand cloud service and software solutions from strategic ISV partners who cater to specific vertical use cases.
