Ambernet Technologies, provider of cloud management software, CloudTruOps, and IT professional services for cloud service providers, enterprises, and cloud brokers worldwide, has appointed Troy Halford as its Chief Sales Officer (CSO). Mr. Halford has more than 20 years of successful sales experience, focused on the global high-tech software market.
Troy Halford will oversee Ambernet’s revenue growth, global expansion of sales and will be responsible for building new industry partnerships. Halford joins Ambernet Technologies from Conceptwave Software where he was VP Sales Americas. Conceptwave was acquired by Ericsson in 2012. Prior to Conceptwave, Halford was VP Global Sales & Partners for Elanti Systems, a company that was acquired by VPI Systems in 2010. Earlier in his career, Halford held positions at Oracle, MetaSolv Software and Nortel.
The appointment would underscore Ambernet’s global expansion plans with its CloudTruOps software. CloudTruOps is a policy based cloud management solution that provides a fully transactional single pane of glass for infrastructure management, governance, IT self-service, orchestration, and is a platform with pre-assembled ready-to-go IT operations applications.

Appointment MD Indian subsidiary
The company also appointed Bharat Chobisa as the Managing Director of its Indian subsidiary. Mr. Chobisa will oversee Ambernet’s India operations, including helping the Indian Subsidiary support Ambernet’s global client base. Mr. Chobisa is a seasoned entrepreneur and has more than 20 years of executive management and sales experience. Chobisa is based in Dubai, UAE.
