Zscaler (NASDAQ: ZS), a global provider of cloud security solutions, has announced integrations with digital workflow company ServiceNow. This would enable advanced visibility, access control, and data security for optimized cloud data protection and security incident response.
The new product enables native ingestion of Zscaler’s cloud security threat intelligence, allowing cloud-first enterprises to speed up threat investigation and response workflows. This interface would streamline security operations by allowing security professionals to monitor actionable data from a single interface, eliminating the need to pivot between disparate management systems for point products.
Organizations can increase data security and compliance on the ServiceNow Now Platform using Zscaler Data Protection connectors. Remote and unmanaged devices can be “easily” prohibited from accessing ServiceNow’s platform and data by allowing Zscaler to govern authentication. Devices can only access ServiceNow through Zscaler, which allows for the enforcement of security policies and access control to sensitive data.
All Zscaler integrations with ServiceNow are generally available today.

- Restore Data Protection & Compliance – Scanning specified ServiceNow instances for sensitive data and violations can help businesses increase data visibility and assist prevent data exfiltration. This would allow them to rapidly identify how data is being utilized and who has access to it.
- Securely enable Work from Anywhere – Unmanaged and BYOD devices are blocked from accessing the Now Platform and the sensitive data it contains, allowing for a safe work-from-anywhere experience only on managed devices.
- Streamline Incident Response – Zscaler Threat intelligence has been added to incident response workflows within the ServiceNow Security Incident Response Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) solution, allowing IT leaders to respond more quickly to emerging threats and gain better fidelity across emerging incidents. In addition, ServiceNow can automate the addition of new malicious domains and URLs to Zscaler Internet Access, allowing a threat to be quickly contained.
