“Organizations understand the importance of securing the cloud using cloud-native technologies,” said Brendan Hannigan, co-founder and CEO of Sonrai Security.

Sonrai Security is growing its footprint in Europe and Asia Pacific to better serve enterprise clients. Sonrai is prepared to capitalize on its high growth trajectory for 2022 by offering its complete cloud security platform to a larger spectrum of global corporations as more organizations migrate to the cloud.

“Organizations understand the importance of securing the cloud using cloud-native technologies and not old-school approaches and first-generation cloud security posture management (CSPM) tools have left many companies unprotected against escalating cyberthreats,” said Brendan Hannigan, co-founder and CEO of Sonrai Security. “We are expanding our footprint internationally to serve growing demand from customers in Europe and Asia.”

Sonrai is opening its first European office in London, which will be led by Danny Adamson, a long-time cybersecurity industry veteran and Sonrai’s regional EMEA lead. Later this spring, the business intends to expand into Singapore.

$50M Funding Round

Sonrai’s $50 million Series C fundraising round, which concluded last autumn, is backing its expansion goals. To support customers in these areas, Sonrai will continue to expand its worldwide staff.

Sonrai’s technology is delivered through Sonrai Dig, a cloud security solution that unearths, prioritizes and removes risks across every part of a client’s public cloud.

Sonrai Dig is a tool that allows businesses to view everything in their clouds, including inventories, activity, identities, data, and workloads. It would also allow them to map every conceivable access path to data. The most essential risks are quickly recognized, prioritized, and remediated by tying workload vulnerabilities into Sonrai’s Identity Graph.
