cloudControl, a European multi-language Platform as a Service (PaaS) provider, headquartered in Berlin, Germany, has expanded its cloud hosting service offering to include official support for the increasingly popular runtime environment Node.js. With the addition of its 5th officially supported language through Node.js, cloudControl gives developers more flexibility when using the platform.
Through cloudControl’s white label partnership model, telecommunications and hosting providers have the opportunity to integrate the cloudControl platform directly into their offering with their own branding and tap into new markets.
As the cloudControl platform supports multiple languages through the Buildpack system, the company is able to simplify software development for users, without locking them into one vendor. With official support for the Node.js Buildpack, customers can now contact the cloudControl expert support team directly with Node.js questions and issues, rather than posting them on community support pages.
cloudControl’s Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) offers more than cloud hosting infrastructure on demand. The platform bundles all the services necessary to develop and run web applications, and eliminates the need to provision and maintain development, testing and deployment environments. This would shorten innovation cycles for development projects and reduce costs.
cloudControl is a European Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) pioneer, developing and running a multi-language PaaS since 2009. In January 2014, the company was recognized in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Application Platform as a Service (aPaaS).
