Global CDN and cloud services provider Cloudflare has announced its partnership with Kyndryl, one of the world’s largest IT infrastructure services providers. Through this cooperation, businesses would be able to grow their connection to different clouds more easily thanks to Kyndryl’s skilled managed end-to-end networking services (WAN-as-a-Service) and Cloudflare’s global technological platform, Cloudflare Zero Trust.

According to the companies, enterprises are increasingly hampered by patchworks of outmoded networks, on-premise technology, public cloud services, and data overload, all of which may increase the risk of security breaches and operational loss.

With Cloudflare’s worldwide cloud platform and Kyndryl’s experience in network services and safeguarding business-critical equipment, businesses may benefit from a fully managed Internet security, performance, and reliability solution. The alliance would lower expenses while providing cost certainty and enabling businesses to swiftly adjust network capacity depending on business demands.

“As Cloudflare builds out its end-to-end cloud offering, we look to our partners to help us reach our clients on a larger scale with this complete set of services,” said Matt Harrell, Global Head of Channels and Alliances at Cloudflare.

“We have seen how businesses are juggling the introduction of more and more cloud-based apps while dealing with old hardware,” said Matthew Prince, co-founder and CEO of Cloudflare. “Over time, this is only slowing down business, limiting innovation potential, and raising network security risk. That’s why with Kyndryl we’ve made it seamless for enterprises to be guided through the entire transition of bringing their corporate networks to the cloud.”

“As Cloudflare builds out its end-to-end cloud offering, we look to our partners to help us reach our clients on a larger scale with this complete set of services,” said Matt Harrell, Global Head of Channels and Alliances at Cloudflare. “There was a clear opportunity to partner in order to support enterprises through their network transformations given Kyndryl’s industry-leading consulting and managed network services. Rising Network Workload Demands

With the complexity of multi-cloud networking increasing, businesses can “confidently” switch all of their resources to cloud-native solutions and retire pricey legacy hardware thanks to Cloudflare and Kyndryl’s managed WAN-as-a-service, the companies stated.

According to Josh Helm, Vice President of Global Network & Edge Offering Enablement at Kyndryl, “We are excited to help guide more customers through their network modernization journeys through our collaboration with Cloudflare. As companies struggle with rising network workload demands, the combined WAN-as-a-Service offering will let businesses create a strong cloud network while putting more of an emphasis on being quick and creative. Simply put, the extensive IT consultancy services Kyndryl offers – fusing network security and cloud networking – assist firms in getting over technical hurdles on the way to a flawless digital transition.”

Together, Kyndryl and Cloudflare would jointly deliver the following benefits:

  • Simplify direct-to-Internet and multi-cloud strategies, and confidently switch networks: Businesses employ SaaS apps and have migrated their data to the cloud, but they still need hardware as their network. To provide the corporate sector with network services, Cloudflare and Kyndryl have partnered. Customers will be guided through this journey by Kyndryl, a services provider, and the Cloudflare technological platform.
  • Provide organizations with cutting-edge networking and edge security capabilities necessary for flexible work environments, including lowering tech debt and legacy architecture, while sparing IT staff from manual effort. In order to help businesses manage their IT infrastructure as their networks develop and workloads are moved to Cloudflare’s platform, Kyndryl will provide advice and support.
  • Quicken digital maturity and network modernization: Managed WAN-as-a-Service, along with flexible cloud networking knowledge, allows networks to adapt to changing IT requirements, both now and in the future.
  • By displacing conventional WAN, extend network security to offices and data centers: Comprehensive business cybersecurity addresses threats and assaults from all angles and vectors.
