CloudLinux, provider of this web hosting platform, has announced new features in their flagship Linux security product, Imunify360. Imunify360 is an automated security solution developed specifically for Linux shared web hosting, VPS hosting and dedicated servers.

Imunify360 is an “all-inclusive, comprehensive” security solution that helps protect Linux web servers against many kinds of cyber attack. The new functionality includes a new way to manage user features, a new vulnerability statistics dashboard, and an extension that tracks and explains the origin of a malware infection.

The new features coming in CloudLinux’s Imunify360 4.0 beta release include:

  • Feature Management for cPanel – A fully-integrated command panel for configuring user feature sets, individually or in bulk.
  • Dashboard – A comprehensive graphical overview of Imunify360’s detections and alerts, presented as easy-to-read charts and geographical heat maps.
  • The ‘Blamer’ – An extension for Proactive Defense that can track and inspect PHP-based malware, report on how it got there and where it came from.

As an automated security solution developed specifically for Linux shared web hosting, VPS and dedicated servers, Imunify360 uses herd immunity and the six-layer approach delivering total protection against attacks for CentOS, RHEL, and CloudLinux OS servers. CloudLinux Backup for Imunify360, an optional feature, would ensure near-instant recovery of infected files from backup and comes with 10 GB of free storage space per month.
