CloudOne Hires James Goldman as Chief Trust and Security Officer

CloudOne, a global provider of cloud hosting based delivery of IBM Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions, headquartered in Indianapolis, IN, has hired James Goldman as Chief Trust and Security Officer effective October 1, 2014. Prior to joining CloudOne, Goldman was Vice President, Marketing Cloud Trust & Business Information Security Officer at global cloud marketing platform ExactTarget.

In his newly created role at CloudOne, Goldman will assume responsibility for defining and managing the information security strategy for the organization, including ensuring that all appropriate technical and administrative information technology resources and data are secure.

Prior to joining ExactTarget, James Goldman served as Professor and Head of the Purdue Malware Lab in the Department of Computer & Information Technology at Purdue University where he founded the Network Engineering Technology program. He has over 20 years of experience in network engineering, security, and computer crime investigation.

Goldman is a CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) with advanced training in computer forensics and has served as a Task Force Officer detailed to the FBI Cyber Crime Task Force. He is also an internationally published author with market leading textbooks in data communications and networking.
