CloudSigma Receives Enterprise-Ready Rating from the Skyhigh CloudTrust Program

CloudSigma, a public cloud hosting infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) provider based in Switzerland, has been awarded the Skyhigh CloudTrust rating of “enterprise-ready” for its CloudSigma Iaas Services. The Skyhigh CloudTrust Rating provides an objective evaluation of a service’s security controls and enterprise readiness based on a detailed set of criteria developed in conjunction with the Cloud Security Alliance (CSA).

Skyhigh CloudTrust’s evaluation program spans five categories: data attributes; user and device attributes; service attributes; business attributes; and legal attributes.

cloud-hosting-cloudsigma“Selecting an enterprise-ready service such as CloudSigma is critical but performing product evaluations is expensive and time consuming, especially with the breadth of services available today,” said Rajiv Gupta, CEO of Skyhigh Networks. “The Skyhigh CloudTrust Rating streamlines the evaluation process by providing an objective and comprehensive evaluation of a service’s security controls and enterprise readiness.”

With infrastructure in Equinix data centers in Zurich, Switzerland, as well as Washington DC, San Jose & Miami, US, and a DRFortress data center in Honolulu, CloudSigma selects the highest-quality data center facilities to support its cloud infrastructure.

CloudSigma strives to dismiss all the security concerns and obstacles that may occur in a public cloud,” said Robert Jenkins, chief executive officer (CEO) at CloudSigma. “Via the numerous security features we provide, customers can manage the security aspects of their deployment, for instance create and attach tailored firewall policies and monitor their networks easily. Last but not least, they are given the ability to install and run their preferred set of tools to maintain their desired level of security quick and easily.”
