Cogent Communications, a provider with one of the largest Internet backbone networks in the world, has established Points of Presence (PoPs) in two Meet Me Rooms (MMRs) within Netrality Properties’ colocation data center portfolio: 401 North Broad in Philadelphia and 1301 Fannin in Houston.
Netrality Properties anticipates future growth and continued expansion from Cogent Communiocations in 2016. The new PoPs provide Netrality’s clients, ranging from carrier to content, education, healthcare, enterprise and media companies, full access to Cogent’s portfolio of all IP services. This access in turn creates additional capacity and new interconnection possibilities between existing networks within the MMR spaces.

Netrality Properties’ 401 North Broad data center has positioned itself as an education, healthcare and media hub for Philadelphia. It would provide a compelling solution for network operators of all types needing to connect to metro, domestic and global resources and applications.
The 1301 Fannin data center would be a major hub for network operators and for the energy industry. Furthermore, its proximity and network access to Mexico would make it a global gateway and therefore strategic to its customer base.
Cogent‘s facilities-based, all-optical IP network provides services in 190 markets globally. The company specializes in providing businesses with “high speed” Internet access, Ethernet transport and colocation services.
