Colocation Company Datacenter.com Achieves Compliance of ISAE 3402 Type II

Datacenter.com, a channel-focused provider of ‘on-demand’ colocation services with a high-profile brand name and a planned roll-out of colocation data centers in strategic markets worldwide, has obtained the ISAE 3402 Type II certification for its colocation data center in Amsterdam, Datacenter.com AMS1.

ISAE 3402 is the ‘International Standard on Assurance Engagements’ which has effectively replaced the aged SAS70 standard. Achieving compliance of this standard means that a service organization has undergone an in-depth audit of their internal controls in accordance with the ISAE 3402.

The report was completed by Netherlands-based IT audit company Noordbeek, a company founded by Prof. dr. ir. Ronald Paans RE – professor of Postgraduate IT Audit degree at the VU University of Amsterdam.

The assurance report highlights the effectiveness of Datacenter.com’s quality and security controls that apply to the company’s data center and colocation services. The report would demonstrate Datacenter.com’s commitment to protect the quality and security of its customers’ critical business systems, providing peace of mind to organizations that require the highest levels of security assurance from Datacenter.com such as enterprises, cloud services providers and financial institutions.
