Interxion, a provider of carrier and cloud-neutral colocation data center services in Europe, has announced that customers can now access Microsoft Azure and Office 365 via ExpressRoute from its London data center campus. Interxion’s customers in London would now be able to benefit from improved security, reliability, throughput and performance when accessing Microsoft Azure and Office 365.
Connections to Microsoft ExpressRoute are delivered through Interxion’s Cloud Connect service. Cloud Connect is a cloud interconnection platform that enables customers to build and manage private links to multiple clouds through a single, secured connection delivered through real-time provisioning. The service would offer an “easy, secure and cost-effective” way for customers to build hybrid IT architectures.
TIG, a UK-based Microsoft service provider of cloud services, unified communications and infrastructure solutions, is one of the Interxion customers to adopt this service.
