Colocation Provider InfoRelay Announces Phase 2 Data Center Deployment at Northern Virginia Facility

IAD4, better known as Dulles Exchange, is InfoRelay’s premier, fully owned and operated data center in Northern Virginia.

The expansion announcement comes after InfoRelay’s grand opening of its IAD4 colocation facility in June of 2012. Phase two construction at IAD4 encompasses new floorspace in the data center as well as new private, locking colocation cabinets, power distribution units, power circuits, networking gear and hot-aisle containment air conditioning systems. InfoRelay will start construction in late March 2014.

“Small and medium businesses looking to move their servers into a data center benefit from this expansion, because there will be an abundance of ¼ and ½ partial cabinets available, as well as competitively priced full racks,” said InfoRelay President Russ Weiss. “Colocation cabinets at IAD4 are protected by diesel generator backup power infrastructure, flywheel UPS systems and dual power grids, all of which help to ensure there is never downtime.”

Northern Virginia-based InfoRelay Online Systems, Inc. is a data center, colocation and bandwidth provider with 15 facilities in top US markets, including Los Angeles CA, New York NY, Chicago IL, Dallas TX and Miami FL.
