Vantage Data Centers, a provider of wholesale facilities, has joined the NVIDIA DGX-Ready Data Center Colocation Program to help organizations deploying NVIDIA artificial intelligence (AI) systems scale their infrastructure to support machine learning and AI initiatives.

High-density applications that require AI systems like DGX would place significant demand on data center resources including power and cooling, which conventional data centers may not have the capacity to address.

“Enterprise organizations are adopting shared IT infrastructure architectures to support the rapid growth of high-performance, dense compute applications,” said Tony Paikeday, director of product marketing for the NVIDIA DGX Systems and Data Science Platform. “To simplify this transition for customers, we created best practices and guidelines for data centers to ensure they meet the requirements of our high-performance computing systems and the applications customers will run on them.”
