At Hostingcon Global, ZENEDGE – a provider of cloud-based, artificial intelligence (AI) driven Web Application Firewall (WAF), malicious bot detection and DDoS cyber security solutions – has announced its global network expansion with additional mega-PoPs (Points of Presence) in the US, Canada, Europe, and Asia to accommodate significant customer growth.
The global network expansion provides ZENEDGE with a tenfold capacity increase. All mega-PoPs are situated in PCI compliant Equinix colocation data centers. In addition, ZENEDGE will be leveraging Equinix to market its cyber security solutions to Equinix customers around the world in Equinix Marketplace.
“ZENEDGE is pleased to respond to strong customer demand with a worldwide network expansion as we continue to grow our install base faster than the average market growth,” said Yuri Frayman, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of ZENEDGE. “We chose Equinix as our strategic data center provider because of their global geographic presence, PCI compliance, and level of service.”
Through this global network and capacity expansion, ZENEDGE would deliver local web application protection and local DDoS mitigation capabilities in all its markets, with “near-zero” latency.
“Equinix continues to grow its global interconnection platform to better meet the needs of our customers such as ZENEDGE,” said Lance Weaver, vice president, Offer Management and Platform Strategy, Equinix. “Additionally, we consistently hear that security is top of mind for businesses globally so access to more security service providers in our facilities is a growing benefit of the business ecosystems developing on Platform Equinix.”
Founded in 2014, ZENEDGE protects over 800,000 web applications and networks for organizations in eCommerce, Energy, Entertainment, Financial Services, Gaming, Government, Healthcare, Media and Technology industries. The company is headquartered in Aventura, Florida.
