Through its private global backbone, Zenlayer manages networks and global resources located in more than 100 data centers around the world. This would allow them to deliver network services “in 25 ms or less.” The company also offers on-demand bare metal cloud, SD-WAN, cloud connect, edge computing and colocation services.
Zenlayer is reinforcing its presence in Russia as an important part of its global backbone and overall network strategy. Its three Moscow Points-of-Presence (PoPs) would be a testament to Zenlayer’s ongoing investment in the region.
Russian data center operator IXcellerate was selected as partner of choice by Zenlayer as a result of extensive market research and evaluation, as well as for the presence of the independent Internet exchange platform in the data center, Eurasia Peering IX.
“With IXcellerate, we found a trustworthy IT partner whom we can rely on when implementing our plans in Russia, and who has clearly demonstrated its advantages during the installation phase,” said Joe Zhu, Founder and CEO of Zenlayer. “We greatly appreciate the presence of a dedicated APAC team and IXcellerate’s expertise in working with clients from Asia. Russia’s cloud services’ growth rates are significantly above global average, and we see great potential to connect its underserved areas and fast-track global connectivity.”
IXcellerate is a Russian ‘Tier III’ commercial data center operator in Moscow. IXcellerate’s customers would include multinational corporations, international financial institutions, large trading companies, on-line service providers and IT-companies, leading telecom operators and other organizations processing large quantities of data. The company is headquartered in London.
“The Russian IXcellerate team is focused on systematic work with major international clients, especially with enterprises from the Asia-Pacific region,” said Guy Willner, CEO of IXcellerate. “We are grateful for the trust of global corporations and are doing everything we can to ensure their journey along the Digital Silk Road is smooth sailing.”
