Global high bandwidth connectivity solutions provider Colt has increased its capabilities to provide connection services to the Oracle Cloud Milan Region through Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) FastConnect.
Colt’s 100Gbps capable global fiber network, the Colt IQ Network, also spans Italy and connects over 3,100 linked corporate buildings and 55 connected data centers. The Colt network is connected to Metropolitan Area Networks (MANs) in Milan, Turin, Rome, and Genova. It now allows Oracle Cloud clients in this area to immediately benefit from this cloud-optimized intelligent network.
Colt’s network service offering, when combined with OCI FastConnect, would provide a high-performance, end-to-end connection experience for organizations in Italy’s industrial and financial sectors to connect to Oracle Cloud. Furthermore, compared to public Internet-based connections, this solution can support the creation of a more secure, reliable, and low-latency networking experience.
Enterprise Cloud
Users can self-provision secure, high-bandwidth connectivity to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure regions in minutes, and flexibly scale bandwidth up or down in near-real-time with Colt On Demand for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. Colt On Demand for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure is managed through an online customer interface and purchased on a flexible, pay-as-you-go basis.
