Acquisition of the 350-mile fiber network of the City of Macomb, Michigan, will grow COMLINKs IP network to more than 800 total route miles in the greater Detroit region. The City of Macomb originally built its IP network to provide high-speed connectivity among all the schools in the region.
COMLINK will add the 350-mile network to its already expansive 5,500-mile IP network that serves business customers throughout the State of Michigan.
“The addition of the City of Macomb’s facilities significantly enhances our ability to serve business customers in Macomb and throughout the Greater Detroit region,” said John Summersett, chief operating officer of COMLINK.
