ComputeNext Cloud Marketplace To Be Available in China

ComputeNext, a Gartner Cool Vendor in cloud service brokerage, is officially licensing its software in partnership with China Cloud Computing Service Inc. (CCCS) to bring to market this dedicated marketplace for cloud service offerings in China, a market with high growth-rates in cloud server demand.

The goal of CCCS is to efficiently satisfy customers within mainland China with a secure portal for cloud discovery, provisioning and procurement. This marketplace would be the first introduced to the China OpenStack User Community.

The ComputeNext IaaS marketplace platform makes it possible to compare cloud services and find the best cloud server provider to service a given geography, with visibility in price, uptime, and other cloud performance metrics, such as provisioning consistency, speed, and machine reliability readily available to end-users.

Cloud adoption in China

The vision of CCCS, according to Dr. David Wang, CEO of CCCS, is to “rapidly facilitate cloud adoption in mainland China, which happens to be one of the fastest growing markets globally.”

“By working closely with carefully selected Chinese IT industry veterans like Dr. David Wang – a renowned figure in the China OpenStack User Community – we have found the recipe to gain access to a massive market of end-users who are ‘born in the cloud’ and will seek to purchase and use cloud services through intuitive web portal or unified API,” said ComputeNext CEO Sundar Kannan.
