Console Connect, Vultr Partner to Enhance Multi-Cloud Connectivity

Vultr booth

At CloudFest USA this week in Austin, Texas, Console Connect and Vultr have announced a new global collaboration that allows businesses to establish a private, dedicated link between Vultr and the Console Connect platform. This collaboration aims to improve network security and connectivity for mission-critical applications and workloads, supporting organizations in scaling their multi-cloud initiatives.

The integration between Vultr, one of the world’s largest privately held cloud computing companies, and Network-as-a-Service (NaaS) platform Console Connect enables businesses to directly connect to Vultr servers from over 900 data center locations in more than 50 countries worldwide.

As businesses accelerate their multi-cloud journey, secured and direct connection services to major cloud providers like AWS, Google Cloud, IBM Cloud, Microsoft Azure, and Oracle Cloud may become crucial. By combining Vultr’s flexible and scalable cloud hosting platform with Console Connect’s advanced network automation capabilities, businesses could benefit from an all-in-one solution.

Global Private Connectivity

The collaboration between Console Connect and Vultr would offer several key features to enhance the cloud experience for businesses:

  • Global private connectivity – Console Connect’s Edge Port enables Vultr customers to order a dedicated connection to the platform from their office location. This provides them with full access to Console Connect’s range of on-demand connectivity services. Edge Port is available in 10 markets worldwide, including Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, South Africa, the UK, and the US.
  • Extended network support – Through the Console Connect MeetingPlace, businesses can order various cloud compute, Cloud GPU, Bare Metal, and cloud storage solutions from Vultr. This would allow businesses to combine their connectivity and cloud solutions on one user-friendly platform.
  • Enhanced security and resilience – Businesses can create their own point-to-point Layer 2 connections to Vultr or build a virtual Layer 3 mesh between Vultr and other cloud providers. They can also scale bandwidth in real-time to meet their business needs. Console Connect delivers connectivity to the Vultr cloud across its high-performance network, which includes a redundant and resilient global subsea cable network.

Michael Glynn, SVP of Digital Automated Innovation at Console Connect, expressed his delight at welcoming Vultr as a new technology partner. He highlighted that Vultr’s presence on the Console Connect platform strengthens the cloud offering and provides businesses with more choices as they build and scale their multi-cloud environments globally.

J.J. Kardwell, CEO of Vultr, emphasized the company’s commitment to delivering an unparalleled end user experience, providing the fastest connectivity and quality of service. By partnering with Console Connect, Vultr aims to enable secure and direct connections to its cloud servers for businesses and developers worldwide.

Console Connect is a platform for Software Defined Interconnection that allows users to self-provision private, high-performance connections among a global ecosystem of enterprises, networks, clouds, SaaS providers, IoT providers, and application providers. The platform is integrated with major hyperscale cloud providers, including AWS, Google Cloud, IBM Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Alibaba Cloud, and more.

Created by Constant, Vultr is dedicated to making high-performance cloud computing easy to use, affordable, and locally accessible for businesses and developers worldwide. It has served over 1.5 million customers across 185 countries with flexible, scalable, and global Cloud Compute, Cloud GPU, Bare Metal, and Cloud Storage solutions. Vultr has achieved its position as one of the world’s largest privately held cloud computing companies without raising equity financing.

The collaboration between Console Connect and Vultr would bring together the strengths of both platforms to provide businesses with improved connectivity and security, enabling them to scale their multi-cloud initiatives more effectively.
