Cosentry Increases Presence in U.S. Midwest, Acquires Colocation And Managed Hosting Provider XIOLINK

The acquisition provides Cosentry with data center presence in the St. Louis region, and a more robust set of managed hosting infrastructure and managed services capabilities.

The company will now operate in four Midwest markets with eight data centers, including Omaha, Kansas City, St. Louis and Sioux Falls. The breadth of services now include private and public cloud hosting capabilities, colocation, managed hosting solutions, extensive managed services, disaster recovery and help desk outsourcing.

“We were attracted to XIOLINK because St. Louis is a critical expansion market for our business, and they are the recognized leader in providing data center, managed hosting and managed services in the St. Louis region,” said Brad Hokamp, Cosentry CEO. “In addition, combining our capabilities with those of XIOLINK enables us to provide a more comprehensive suite of IT infrastructure solutions to meet our customers’ needs.”

Integration of XIOLINK

Cosentry will continue to operate and grow XIOLINK’s colocation facilities and core managed hosting and managed services operations in St. Louis. The two co-founders of XIOLINK, Brad Pittenger and Mike Palmer, will continue to work for Cosentry through the successful integration of the companies. After the integration, Mike Palmer will be joining the Cosentry Board of Directors, assisting with the overall company business strategy.

Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed. DH Capital provided investment advisory services to XIOLINK on the acquisition. DH Capital is a private investment banking partnership serving companies in the internet infrastructure, communications and SaaS sectors.
