cPanel has announced a new event series, cP1Con. Building on the web hosting industry success of its annual cPanel Conference, cP1Con was created to reach more current and potential users of cPanel & WHM software.
cPanel hopes to bring technical information, product demos, and networking opportunities to locations that are readily accessible to potential attendees. The first event was held January 21 in Dallas, Texas, and additional events have been planned in several cities, including, Los Angeles, Chicago, Edinburgh, and Philadelphia.
“We exhibit at and attend several web hosting shows each year, but cP1Con gives us the opportunity to interface with an audience made up of only cPanel users,” said Stephen Brent May, Marketing Product Owner at cPanel. “We’re excited about this endeavor, and we can’t wait to see how our attendees respond.”
SoftLayer, a IaaS cloud hosting provider and cPanel Partner, has signed on as the exclusive sponsor for the four U.S. shows. Sponsorship opportunities remain for the international shows.
